Public Voice was established as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2014. Its work has chiefly focussed on listening to the voices of citizens and service users and conveying their experiences and opinions to decision makers in health and social care. We have a track record of influencing the way in which those services are planned and delivered in our home borough, and have acquired skills in community engagement, user research and representation, and co-production.

We have however grown significantly in recent years and now wish to critically reconsider the space that we currently fill and could potentially fill in the future in health and social care, and beyond. It is especially important that we are able to champion the user voice alongside the current changes in health and social care sector. Our ambitions also include expanding our scope both geographically and to other sectors going forward.

We are now seeking an experienced facilitator to work with our Chief Executive to undertake a strategic reflection in the coming weeks. This will involve a dialogue both internally with staff and board, as well as externally with stakeholders.

We invite expressions of interest, as set out in the accompanying Terms of Reference below, by 9.00am on Friday 5th November.
