Public Voice CIC is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Rogers as its new Chief Executive Officer, from Monday 10 October 2022.
Dan joins Public Voice from Connected Places Catapult, a government-backed, non-profit innovation agency. At Connected Places Catapult, he led a team responsible for developing bids and proposals for people-centred innovation projects – looking at ways to improve places for social, economic and environmental benefits.
Dan played a pivotal role in the design and launch of the ‘Homes for Healthy Ageing’ programme, which will help to test and scale innovations that support residents to live safely and independently in their own homes. Collaborating with government, housing associations, charities, investors, academia and technology providers, he led the design of the multi-year programme, which is now running testbeds across different parts of the UK.
Dan has worked in strategy, operations management and business development, throughout a career which has spanned roles in publishing, research, and consultancy. He brings experience of engaging industry, government, and grant funding clients, in order to scale businesses and deliver social impact.
Dan is part-time voluntary Chair of the Board for a charity in the justice sector that provides companionship and support to prisoners, and has served a number of voluntary roles in the community. He studied English Literature at the University of Warwick, and holds professional qualifications in strategic leadership, project management, and bid and proposal management. He is currently studying an Executive MBA at Warwick Business School.
Chair of Public Voice, Sharon Grant OBE said:
“In these times of such pressure on our public services, the voice of patients and service users is more important than ever – and that is Public Voice’s business! I am delighted to welcome Dan to lead the next stage of our growing non-profit organisation.”
