In February 2025, Haringey Advice Partnership launched a new collaboration with Haringey Works, Twining Hestia, and The Shaw Trust Work Well Programme to deliver a series of Wellbeing and Employment Events.

The first session, held at Coombes Croft Library, was well attended and offered a welcoming space for local residents to connect with a range of support services. The event aimed to provide an informal setting where attendees could learn about managing employment with health conditions, boosting wellbeing, and improving financial resilience.

Residents had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with service providers and access tailored advice on job searching, CV writing, interview preparation, mental health disclosure, and in-work support. Haringey Advice Partnership also provided guidance on benefits, grants, energy support, and debt advice. A local resident described the event as “very friendly and informative with lots of information, leaflets and one-to-one discussions.”

The next Wellbeing and Employment Event is scheduled to take place at Marcus Garvey Library on Thursday, 5th June 2025, from 10am to 1pm. To learn more or book a slot, visit this link
