Public Voice have been successful in our bid to deliver the Healthwatch service for Barnet, following a robust procurement process earlier this year.
From June 2025, Public Voice will host and deliver the Healthwatch Barnet service.
Having successfully delivered the Healthwatch Haringey service for the past 12 years, the Healthwatch Croydon service since 2023, the Healthwatch Hounslow service since April 2025, and a range of NHS community engagement and research projects, Public Voice come well equipped with the knowledge, expertise and skills to understand the challenges facing the NHS and other care providers in Barnet, and to make sure the experiences of local people improve health and care services for everyone.
Dan Rogers, CEO of Public Voice, said: “The NHS and social care face enormous challenges and big questions about how we invest in future services. We face unfair and avoidable differences in health across the population and between different groups in society. Tackling the care backlog and building a future service that can help people stay well and support those in need will be challenging. Health and social care decision-makers need the public’s input, and this is where Healthwatch comes in”.
The seamless continuity of the Healthwatch Barnet service is essential, and some of the current Healthwatch team will stay in place, as will many members of the Board, continuing their valuable work. Together with them, Public Voice commits to helping NHS and social care services deliver high-quality care across the borough and wider health systems of North Central London.
